Presenters: Greg & Meryem Brown
Operating and ministering under the name synergia, Meryem & Greg consult with clergy, youth workers, chaplains, missionaries, denominational and parachurch leaders, providing counselling, coaching and supervision. They have a particular interest in sustainable life and ministry, practitioner resilience, burnout prevention, and self-care.
Meryem is a registered psychologist, operating a private practice on the Redcliffe Peninsula, just north of Brisbane for over 25 years. Approximately half of her clients are in full-time Christian ministry.
Greg is has experience in accounting, administration, management, counselling and pastoral work, and has a degree in business and an M.A. in Applied Ethics, during which he conducted research into ethics in the Christian ministry in Australia. He has completed counselling qualifications and has his own practice.
Meryem & Greg’s primary ministry focus is the support of Christian leaders and their families across all denominations and within parachurch and mission organisations
