Come and join Neil Harris and Doug Sotheren in this two-day workshop as they spill the 
BEANS on their approaches to working with couples
In this experiential workshop both will share their similarities and 
differences in style and theory
Whether you are after Baked BEANS or just a BEAN SALAD this PD offers an opportunity to review and sharpen up your relational skills
Look at some of the finer nuances of relational Gate-keeping and 
how under arching theory shapes intervention
  
Presenters:
Doug Sotheren
(BA, M.Th, Dip RE, CCAA)
 
Doug is well known throughout the NSW counselling world for his knowledge and expertise, spanning over 30-plus years of clinical practice. He is a Clinical member and Registered Supervisor of Australian Association of Relationship Counsellors , a Life member of the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia, and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has a BA in Sociology and an M. Th. with focus on the family systems.
   
Dr Neil Harris 
(D.Arts (MFTS), M.Ed (Ad), M.Couns, Grad Dip Couns, B.Couns)
 
Neil trained as a relationships counsellor in 1993-4 with Doug Sotheren and they began the Narara Valley Counselling Service on the Central Coast of NSW. He then worked for Baptist Community Service New South Wales as Northern regional manager responsible for supervision of programs and supervision and training of counsellors and staff. Neil later transferred to Morling College where he was Associate Dean of the Counselling Department for 11 years. He is currently adjunct lecturer at Morling and adjunct supervisor and educator for training counsellors for Avondale College and the Australian College of Applied Psychology
