'What Works?' Knowing self in relation to our clients- Joy Anasta

About the Presenter    Joy Anasta2Joy Anasta brings 20 years of counselling and psychotherapeutic experience, both in private practice and within an organisational framework, and as an educator of 14 years in the tertiary sectory. Specialising in working with addictions, relationships, sexual abuse and Dissociative Identity Disorders there is often a context of violence in her clients stories and lives.
As a qualified mediator the work is necessitated by disagreement and conflict, but here too there is frequently the undercurrent of threat.
Every day we learn, and it is the wise therapist who sits as a student of their client.
