Understanding and working with Dementia

Presenter: Heather Peall

Heather has been involved in the Counselling field for 25 years. She has spent much of that time developing and managing a church based Counselling Centre while also working in agencies assisting families with children at risk, people struggling with problem gambling and Victims of Crime. Currently Heather divides her time between Red Nose where she is a bereavement counsellor and educator, Dementia Australia (Counsellor)and private practice where she provides supervision and counselling. Heather is married to Stuart and has two adult children. Her hobbies include cooking and spending time at Rainbow Beach whenever possible.
