Talking about our thoughts and feelings with someone we barely know can be a scary experience. I offer a gentle, compassionate approach which takes the fear out of this process and helps you feel comfortable and safe. I follow your lead in discovering your personal story and help you to uncover the wonderful strengths that you have. You can walk with me in the beautiful outdoors or wrap yourself in a blanky in your own home via telehealth. I am trained in a range of evidenced based therapies and as we work together we can explore how they can support your wellbeing. I hope to help you come away from counselling with a unique toolbox that can assist your lifelong journey of healing and growth.
I am a member of the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and undertake regular supervision. I have had a variety of roles in the last 25 years including working with business professionals, pastoral care, chaplaincy and teaching. I am currently a Trainer and Assessor for the Australian Institute of Family Counselling (AIFC).
I am available throughout the week and on Saturdays at various times for online counselling and walk and talk (Illawarra only).
