I had worked as a pastor for 25 years in Croatia, Canada and in Australia, providing pastoral counselling, leadership, relationship and chaplain support to thousands of people, while also being a very successful public speaker and holding regular religious programs in Sydney on the local Croatian radio station for five years.

During my pastoral work, and while undergoing numerous personal challenges, I realised how mental health is severely overlooked and neglected in most Christian circles (particularly, conservative Christian circles where the solution for all problems was seen as "you should pray and read your Bible more than what you are doing now"). That led me on my counselling journey that had begun in second half of 2015, first with Diploma and then Graduate Diploma of Counselling where I started to offer free counselling services to members of the community because I was still a full-time pastor. But at the end of 2021, I decided to completely focus on counselling and start a completely new chapter in my life.

For almost three years now I have been working for one major Australian mental health services where I have engaged with thousands of clients presenting with different kinds of mental health challenges, including suicidal and other high risk clients. Meanwhile, I have successfully completed Master of Counselling studies and have been also providing individual and couples counselling, as well as clinical supervision.

My personal and professional journey, but also the fact that I am a survivor of child sexual abuse who has dealt with complex trauma, put me in a unique position to provide a truly holistic approach to all my clients.
