Bachelor In Counselling

Hello ! I’m Dani, a compassionate, person-centred counsellor who is deeply committed to walking alongside people with care, respect, and faith, seeking to reflect the love and compassion of Jesus in my work. I am passionate about supporting individuals through life’s challenges, particularly those related to trauma, neurodiversity, and complex personal or spiritual experiences.

My approach to counselling is shaped by both professional training and lived experience gained through many years of working with people in diverse personal and professional contexts. This has given me a strong appreciation for the complexity of human experience and the resilience people carry, even in the midst of hardship.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals who have experienced religious and developmental trauma. While I value talk therapy, I believe that healing is most transformative when it engages the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. My practice is informed by Polyvagal Theory, Attachment Theory, and Neurobiological Theory, which guide my understanding of trauma, emotional regulation, and relational healing.

I am especially committed to fostering trauma-informed, compassionate approaches within Christian contexts and advocating for neurodiversity in a person-centred way. I believe that God has placed within each person an inherent capacity for wisdom, resilience, and restoration, and I see my role as gently supporting clients to reconnect with these inner and spiritual resources in a safe and respectful environment.

In my private practice, I offer a warm, reflective, and non-judgmental space where clients are invited to explore their experiences, faith, and healing journey at their own pace.
