Sarah Van Bentum launched The Counselling Hub in January 2016, driven by a deep commitment to providing high-quality counselling for individuals and couples feeling stuck or overwhelmed. The Counselling Hub offers a safe, confidential, and compassionate space where clients can explore meaningful life change through growth, awareness, and acceptance.

 

Sarah holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education and Humanities, and she is an accredited Clinical Supervisor. She also serves as the General Manager of Relationships and Wellbeing at Anglicare Sydney, where she leads programs that promote mental health, connection, and safety.

 

As a counsellor, Sarah brings a dynamic toolkit shaped by personal lived experience, formal academic study, and hands-on work as an educator, entrepreneur, and clinician. Her practice is informed by a solutions-focused and systems-oriented approach, underpinned by the belief that small, intentional changes can lead to powerful transformation.
