Enid provides individual counselling for a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma – past and present, life-adjustment issues, emotional challenges in coping with chronic pain or illness, spiritual abuse, and relationship difficulties. She works with individuals of all ages, genders, spiritual orientations, and backgrounds, from a stance of compassion and respect.
Enid spent most of her childhood years living overseas, and is married to a second-generation Australian-Chinese, so giving her firsthand experience with cross-cultural issues and trans-cultural adjustment challenges. Her life experiences include raising children and working in education and church settings. She is also familiar with the difficulties of coping with chronic illness in oneself or a family member, and the pain of church-hurt.
She is committed to creating a safe space for you, along with a personalised counselling experience where hope can be restored, and your counselling needs met. She provides trauma-informed care, and is both holistic and flexible in her approach, regardless of the underlying issue, so your unique needs can be met.
