My counselling journey is deeply personal, shaped by lived experience and recovery from childhood trauma. I have a technical background originally with a Bachelor of Engineering, but my lived experience had me transition to a disability carer, a bold change. I moved into social work as a youth worker supporting children, youth and parents suffering from DV with life skills and emotional challenges. Then into Aged Care and Primary School Children as a Pastoral Care/Chaplain, and now a Counsellor, Group and Individual Support Facilitator and Therapist, with over +10 years support experience now. I am working toward specialising as a Family Therapist, remaining committed to creating safe spaces where people feel heard, valued, and empowered.
