Bachelor of Counselling

I’m Fiona, a counsellor with a background in photo organising. Over the years, I saw how sorting through photos often stirred grief, overwhelm, or tender memories. Wanting to support people beyond practical organising, I completed a Bachelor of Counselling and created Counselling Memories.

My approach blends lived experience with professional training. I understand how deeply photos connect to life stories, and I offer counselling that is calm, compassionate, and always at your pace. For some, that means a session or two to feel confident moving forward; for others, it’s ongoing support to work through more complex memories and emotions.

Outside of counselling, my life is grounded in faith, friendship, humour, and nature. These values shape how I walk alongside clients — with warmth, respect, and belief in the healing power of connection.

I am also a registered member of the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), ensuring that I maintain ethical, professional, and supportive practices.
