Bachelor of Counselling

Originally trained as a registered nurse and midwife, and then being blessed with a large family, counselling has given me the opportunity to listen to your concerns from a trauma-informed perspective with unique understanding. Insight from personal experience has developed my interests related to the spectrum of life transitions. These include family, relationships, pregnancy, birth, and parenting. These are unforgettable milestones, encompassing both highs and lows of human emotional experience, inevitably leading through to loss, menopause and empty nest as well as ageing. Compassionate communication with all ages, as well as equipping with insight for wellbeing and coping strategies are important aspects to my practice style. I currently offer telehealth sessions and look forward to hearing from you.
