About Ian McGrath
Welcome! My name is Ian, and I am a counsellor and supervisor with over 17 years of experience providing compassionate, helpful care to individuals, couples, and families. My mission is to create a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges.
I specialize in working with people facing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, and life transitions. Drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches, I tailor my methods to meet the unique needs of each client. My approach is rooted in the belief that healing and growth are possible for everyone, and I am committed to walking alongside you on your journey to well-being.
In my practice, I focus on fostering an authentic, non-judgmental space where we can explore difficult emotions, uncover underlying patterns, and develop new strategies for coping and thriving. Whether you're seeking support to overcome personal challenges or looking to deepen your understanding of yourself, I am here to help guide you through that process.
In 2007 I graduated with a Bachelor of Counselling. It is a joy and privilege to be able to assist individuals, couples and families work through problems and challenges. I have been an ordained Anglican Minister since 1987 and worked in both city and country parishes.
I invite you to reach out for a free consultation to discuss how we can work together to help you achieve your goals. Together, we can build a path toward greater emotional resilience, clarity, and balance in your life.
