Jo has worked in education for 14+ years, and has extensive experience working with children, tweens and teens and their families from varied backgrounds.
Jo is passionate about the prevention and early intervention of young people’s mental health and wellbeing from a faith-based, holistic perspective and utilises expressive therapies and a variety of approaches to meet individual needs.
Additionally, Jo has combined her experience and formal education and has developed evidence-based and theory-informed guidance programs which aim to provide education and support to help young people understand and celebrate their whole self, to help reach their goals and God-given potential, enhance their self-esteem, and provide support with common mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. These programs can be offered in small groups or in individual sessions.
