We all have our stories, some filled with joy, others marked by pain. Over the years, I have met so many people who, despite smiling on the outside, were quietly living with heartache, anxiety, and loneliness. Seeing this reality stirred something in me. I knew I wanted my life’s work to be more than just a profession, I wanted to walk alongside people in their struggles, helping them find healing, hope, and renewed strength.

My own life experiences, as well as my work with women, children, teens, and families, have taught me that every person has the ability to grow and heal when given the right space, understanding, and support. I believe that no matter how deep the hurt, there is always a way forward — even if it’s just one small step at a time.

I began my career in another field, but always had my heart pulled toward people, stories, and connection. Over time, I committed myself fully to counselling, completing professional training in a range of approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and play therapy. I now practise as a Registered Counsellor with the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA) and hold Level 2 membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). My approach is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, strengths-based, and family-focused. Guided by my Christian faith, I am committed to walking alongside individuals and families with empathy, integrity, and respect, meeting each person where they are, without judgement.

Today, I support clients experiencing anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation challenges, family conflict, and behavioural concerns. I do not see myself as “the expert” telling others what to do. I see myself as someone walking the path with you, offering tools, understanding, and hope from both lived experience and professional training. My deepest belief is that there is always a possibility for change, no matter how stuck or hopeless life may feel.
