Russell comes with a broad and diverse life experience, both personally and professionally. He has a background in aviation, both as a licensed aircraft engineer and commercial pilot. He has worked in general and mission aviation, as well as medical retrieval services, in both remote Australia and overseas. He also has many years of experience in pastoral and lay church ministry.

Russell offers personalised support for those dealing with family and relationship issues, anxiety or stress, grief or loss, addictions, life transitions, and other personal struggles and hurts.

Russell has a warm, empathetic and caring personality and is a good listener.  He has a particular interest in mentoring, encouraging and supporting men in their roles and life’s challenges. 

Russell has been married to Heather for 41 years and has three married children and ten grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his family and has been a steady influence in their lives as they have grown to adulthood and established their own careers and families.

Russell enjoys a variety of recreational activities (including trail running, camping, kayaking, bush walking and cycling) and is a keen apiarist.  He seeks to maintain a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle.
