Master of Counselling

As a counsellor, I believe that every individual holds unique strengths and inner resilience that can be harnessed to promote healing, personal growth, and well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where clients can openly explore their thoughts, emotions, and life experiences. It is a privilege to walk alongside each client on their journey of self-discovery and transformation.
I offer counselling services for individuals, couples, and families, tailoring each session to meet the specific needs of the client. Sessions are available in person or via telehealth, including video conferencing and telephone options, to ensure accessibility and comfort.
My practice is grounded in a client-centered approach, recognising that each person is the expert of their own life. I work collaboratively with clients to understand their perspectives and support them in setting meaningful therapeutic goals. My integrative style draws primarily from interpersonal psychotherapy, family systems theory, attachment-based approaches, and emotionally focused therapy.
Outside of my counselling work, I am also a wife and mother. My husband is a minister, and together we planted a church in 2011, where we have been serving ever since. My decision to become a counsellor was deeply shaped by my own experiences of trauma and loss, particularly after the death of our third son to SIDS at four months old. Engaging in therapy has played a significant role in my own healing journey.
I am passionate about supporting others as they navigate trauma, mental health challenges, and relationship struggles. It is my hope that each client finds strength, peace, and renewed hope through the counselling process.
