M. Couns., BASc

Walking alongside people and offering a safe place to talk through distress is Jillian's emphasis. Individual needs and preferences for counselling are shaped around trauma informed and recovery mindsets.

Jillian values helping people by working with emotions, creativity, the body, breath work, mindfulness, and strength-based approaches. She is Internal Family Systems informed and enjoys hearing about another's increased calm, compassion and courage. Each person's story is important and each person is unique.

Previously, as an information professional, Jillian worked for many years to resource children, adolescents, parents, carers and professionals within healthcare settings.

Feel free to reach out to ask any questions. Fees are based on a sliding scale, with reduced amounts or concessions for students and people with financial concerns.
