Master of Arts in Professional Counselling | Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy (Graduate) | Brainspotting Practitioner (Phase 1 & 2)
As a Christian counsellor since 2012, I help people to find healing for themselves and their relationships. I work with people who struggle with trauma, depression, relationships, self-worth, and identity. When meeting with my clients, I look at the cultural context — societal, religious, and family — and seek to understand how culture shapes the personal story of each individual. I then attend to how you hold yourself, your story, beliefs, and sufferings in your mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help you to become who you are truly meant to be, to love and be loved, and restore your sense of self, sense of worth, freedom, fulfilment, and joy.
My psychotherapy approach has a heritage that stems from Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy and Brainspotting Psychotherapy. Each session is designed to help you to discover and work with the processes that unconsciously create and maintain the way you experience life and relationships. It is mindful, somatic, and spiritual.
Your unconscious is the root of your soul. When we uncover the root, we can finally care for and work with it. I will help you find the courage to do this. As a result, many clients experience profound healing and change, often with surprisingly little effort. I believe you are no ordinary person. And you will be healed and become well.
