Peter is a Counsellor/Psychotherapists and Educator in private practice in Glass House Mountians on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. He has a special interest in couple's therapy with a focus on relational and personal growth & Applied Neuroscience. He is also a registered teacher with the Queensland College of Teachers.
He holds a Master's Degree from Queensland University of Technology and brings with him almost 40 years' of experience working with people in a variety of settings, including as a Teacher, Youth Worker, School Counsellor, Advisory Visiting Teacher, Counsellor and Psychotherapists.
In addition to his counselling practice Peter has been a sessional lecturer for thirty years in the School of Social Sciences at Christian Heritage College Brisbane.
For sixteen and half years (and nearly 700 programs) Peter hosted a two-hour weekly talk back radio programs focusing on life issues that are not often discuss in depth within broader community. As a result of his vast experience he has regularly presented seminars on a range of topics from professional development to marriage and parenting issues as well as presenting at national and international conferences.
Peter has developed several training programs as well as co-authoring the book "Being a Bloke: Discovering the Essence of Authentic Aussie Masculinity", Red Hill Publishing 2010. He is a Clinical Member of the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia and is listed on the PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) National Register, and a Member of the International Association of Applied Neuroscience.
