As well as being a qualified counsellor, Karen Chapman is a wife, mother, grandmother, step-mother and step-grandmother. Karen is passionate about helping people to discover their life purpose and experience personal growth, health, and wholeness in every area of their lives. Karen's person-centered approach values the individuality and uniqueness of each person, and provides an empathic and accepting space for clients to share their stories and concerns.

Karen has a special interest in working with women of all ages. She has a deep understanding of various issues women often face, including identity, differentiation, relationships, navigating career and motherhood, depression, anxiety, loss and grief, empty nest, trauma and abuse. Karen has a particular interest in working with those who have experienced infertility, post-natal depression, relationship breakdown and loss, life change, separation and divorce. Throughout her life, Karen has journeyed with teenagers, young women, mothers, and mature-aged women, both individually and in group settings, to help them navigate life obstacles and discover joy and fulfilment in their lives.

As well as face-to-face counselling, Karen offers Zoom, Skype and phone counselling where necessary.
