Master's Degree in Counselling

I am a trained Counsellor in private practice for Pregnancy Support Services individually and online, and in a mental health clinical setting focusing on Alcohol and Other Drugs or Substances use. My formal qualifications include a Master's Degree in Counselling, specialising in Trauma and Domestic & Family Violence at Christian Heritage College, Brisbane. I am registered with both the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) (registration number 31503) and the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA) (registration number 401426). I participate in regular professional development and clinical supervision. I have been journeying with people through different transformative seasons into healing, restoration, and growth.
I am passionately and authentically person-centred in how I work and aim to create a safe, trusting and respectful space focusing on genuine connection and empathy for a therapeutic relationship. My purpose in serving people is not only as a counsellor or listener but also as a mirror in a sacred space where I can sit with them with curiosity, reflecting the insights, new perspectives and strategies that arise from your own inner world.
All the past experiences that I have had in life have ultimately shaped me into the kind of person I am today. Coming from a hotel and hospitality background with a diverse range of life and work experiences in multiple countries, I am able to genuinely understand the cultural and social dynamics, including roles, responsibilities, and relationships in a workplace or a foreign country. I am open-minded, inclusive, and non-judgmental, and people are welcome to speak in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin with me.
