Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy (MCounsPsych), AQF level 9, BSc (Hons)

Sometimes life can feel like a tangled mess. When your head is full of overwhelm or the weight of life's complexities is causing anxiety, depression, or burnout, and you feel stuck, knowing something needs to change before you break, but not knowing what, that weight can feel really heavy. In those moments, what's often needed isn't unwanted advice or dismissive platitudes, but a warm, impartial, and non-judgmental person to sit with you and help carry the load for a while. At Untangled: Counselling and Psychotherapy, I aim to offer a safe and grounded space where you can explore and gently tease apart your concerns with care and clarity, working toward practical solutions that suit you and your circumstances. Looking holistically at the context of your life, exploring the emotional, mental, behavioural, neurological, and spiritual aspects of what you're experiencing may help uncover the deeper patterns and reasons behind what you're experiencing, and bring understanding, order, and a sense of newfound self-compassion and freedom to what feels knotted and confusing.
I am a trauma-informed Master's qualified counsellor and psychotherapist, and bring both professional and lived experience to my work. I believe in working with, not on, people, honouring their stories and helping them reconnect with their strengths. My work is grounded in creativity, compassion, and the belief that healing happens in inclusive spaces where people feel genuinely seen and understood. In practice, I draw on expressive modalities, systemic perspectives, and psychoeducation to support insight, strengthen relationships, and foster meaningful change. I welcome spiritual conversations and, if meaningful for you, offer Christian faith integration into sessions.
I am currently seeing clients on Wednesdays in Port Adelaide and online by arrangement. Please get in contact if you are seeking counselling support.
