Lyndy is a clinically registered counsellor and Registered Supervisor, holding multiple university qualifications in Psychology and Counselling. Lyndy is a Clinical Supervisor of the Christian Counsellors Association (CCAA) and is a Registered Clinical Supervisor with the Psychotherapy and Counselling Association Australia (PACFA).

Lyndy has had extensive professional experience, working as a counsellor for over 20 years and as a supervisor for 10 years.  Her professional life has included providing tertiary and post-grad counsellor training and education, working in private practice, counselling in government funded organisations that dealt primarily with crises, trauma and grief issues. Lyndy has also worked as a school counsellor with both primary and secondary students.

Lyndy’s counselling work interest is in the field of trauma counselling but she also enjoys training and education, mentoring and providing clinical supervision that improves counsellor skill, competence and practice.

Lyndy has most recently been providing counselling supervision and training to Cambodian and Chinese national counsellors, social workers and health workers.
