Val is a clinical counsellor working in private practice with clients who are often dealing with trauma. Previously, Val worked in community development and was Practicum Coordinator and lecturer in the School of Counselling at Excelsia College.

Val offers clinical supervision to counsellors, students, pastors and Christian leaders. She also provides Integration Supervisor for counsellors wishing to become Clinical Members of CCAA.
