    Counselling Lecturer

    About Us:

    About the Role:
    Deliver high-quality teaching at the tertiary level, including online, face-to-face, and intensive formats.
    Develop and maintain course materials, assessments, and curricula in accordance with Morling College’s educational standards.
    Teach client-centred and process-oriented counselling theory and application.
    Engage in ongoing research and professional development to stay current with industry trends and advancements.
    Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to faculty goals.
    Mentor and support students.
    Maintain currency of clinical practice
    The role is 19 hours/week (0.5 FTE).
    Remuneration: $53,785.84/annum, excluding Superannuation.
    Start Date: 28/01/2025

    About the Role
    Counsellor (maternity leave contract, part-time)
    To support our Pastoral Care program, we have a passionate and dedicated team that work in partnership with families to support holistic student well-being. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Counsellor to join our Pastoral Care team.
    You will be working with an experienced team including the College Psychologist, Counsellors, the College Chaplain and the different Heads of Year.
    In addition to your skills, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to engage in a professional and personal way. You will be in the frontline of expressing care to our community.
    This is a maternity leave contract, part-time (0.8 FTE) role starting in Term 1, 2025.
