Are you working with clients who have been affected by a misuse of power and/or control?

Perhaps your clients have been impacted by domestic and family violence?

Maybe you are working with those who have come from systems of oppression and discrimination?

Or it might just be that your clients have experienced situational or relational incidents of trauma including abuse, assault, exploitation, betrayal, neglect, or adverse childhood experiences.

No matter your clientele, this workshop will be an immersive experience wherein we explore the dynamics of power – specifically the more hidden dynamics that occur within the therapeutic relationship.

Through an exploration into the world of power you will discover how your own experiences of suppression and support have impacted you. It is through this exploration of our own experiences that we are better able to understand our clients which in turn opens us to new relational approaches to ethical awareness and the supportive use of power within the therapeutic relationship.
