Natalie Daugherty is an experienced counsellor with over eight years in school counselling and private practice. She is the owner of Back to Basics Counseling & Consulting.

She is a sessional lecturer and supervisor at Christian Heritage College and a registered supervisor through the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), as well as Australian Counselling Services through AIPC.

Natalie has been researching excessive screen use and Internet Gaming Disorder since 2018, contributing two postgraduate research papers and a postgraduate case study. She is passionate about supporting parents, educators, and counsellors in addressing this growing concern by equipping them evidence based solutions.

Natalie and her husband Andy of 24 years reside on the Gold Coast of Australia and have two beautiful adult children.
