Forgiveness – are you kidding me – after what they did?

Forgiveness is probably one of the hardest things we ever do and, as such, is deeply misunderstood, underappreciated and underutilised as a specific, valuable and important therapeutic tool.

What are the misunderstandings and misgivings that inhibit or prevent it, and how, as therapists, can we facilitate the courage that deep healing requires and the freedom that it brings. And what does our current societal values say about forgiveness. Examine these concepts and investigate a valuable process able to be used with couples, intergenerational conflict and individual clients.
