Healthcare Professionals Civil Liability Policy
insurance.com.au offers a Healthcare Professionals Civil Liability, which combines Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Products Liability Insurance under one insurance policy. This policy is compliant against the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) requirements.
Professional Indemnity provides cover for the financial consequences of neglect, error or omission by the professional or firm taking out the policy. If a third party makes a claim against any wrong-doing, mistake or breach of professional duty on your part, then this type of insurance will protect the assets and reputation of your business.
Public Liability insurance covers your business in the event one of your clients or a member of the public claims they were injured, or their property was damaged because of your business operations.
Product Liability protects you from claims made against you in Australia for any products sold or supplied by you to a third party, if your products caused personal injury or property damage. The cover may include compensation payable to a third party and/or reasonable legal defense or investigation costs relating to the claim.
