 In the recent meeting of the National Council, members had an engaging dialogue with the PACFA CEO Johanna de Wever regarding the implementation of the National Standards. These standards are anticipated to bring significant changes that will enhance the recognition of and elevate the overall profile of the counselling profession.

As we move forward, we are dedicated to collecting relevant information about the implementation process to ensure that our members are well-informed and prepared for the upcoming changes which is expected to take place over 3 – 5 years.

We will soon provide an update that outlines the key aspects of the implementation process along with a Q and A session to address any concerns or inquiries that members may have and to ensure that all members are well-equipped with the knowledge necessary to navigate the changes brought about by the National Standards.
