How do we help our young people on the autism spectrum, navigate the transition from Primary school to secondary school? For many young people, moving into high school can be a big step out of their comfort zone, even more so for those children who also live with autism. During this workshop, experienced secondary educator, Sharon Witt, will unpack some of the helpful strategies that can be implemented to help in the months leading up to making this step, and also how to navigate the first year and Lena Tan will call on her extensive experience to provide a window into the inner thoughts and fears of children and families living with Autism.
