Chad Loftis

Chad Loftis fell into professional counselling while at Bible College in the USA because he wanted to be in the same class as a cute girl. The girl later became his wife and psychotherapy his calling. After working as a counsellor for kids and young people in Australia for several years, he moved with his wife, Erika and their four kids to Northern Thailand where Chad served as a therapist and, later, as part of the leadership team at The Well International in Chiang Mai. During their ten years in Thailand, Chad enriched his practice by rubbing shoulders with brilliant therapists from all over the world including Ulrika Ernvik, the creator of the Safety Stories appraoch. Since returning to practice in Australia, Chad has continued working with adults, couples and families, many of whom are living with the effects of trauma.
