This presentation will provide an opportunity to reflect on the three primary “personas” active in every two person relationship. In both individual and couple counselling this “triple effect” shapes both the process and the therapeutic outcome.
Understanding the underlying framework of faith which shapes the counsellor’s way of being that each therapeutic intervention is accompanied by is important as a Christian counsellor.
Systems and Relationship Therapy models infiltrated with the historical journey of Trinitarian theology invites into this discussion, what is actually happening in our practice.
Actual case studies will be drawn on to illustrate these dynamics.
The CCAA Annual General Meeting will be held after this workshop – CCAA members only. An additional ½ hour PD will be given for attending the AGM.
